How It Works

Welcome to The Daily Heist – where every day is a chance to unlock the prize and complete the heist!

Daily Challenge

  • Each day at 6:00 PM PST, we release a new “Heist” which consists of a word puzzle, image puzzle, riddle, optical illusion, or combination of these. Your mission: solve it.
  • Be quick! The first one to decode the Heist claims the daily cash prize. 
  • The cash prize value and number of daily winners varies from day to day and is displayed on the home page.
  • You don’t have to compete for the daily prize, you can play whenever you want just for fun.

No Signup Needed

  • You don’t need an account to play. Just jump in and test your skills. Everyone has an equal shot.

Claiming Your Prize

  • The top thieves that solve the daily challenge first will receive a form to input their username for Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal.
  • Be sure to select your platform from the drop-down menu before entering your username.
  • If in a winning position, the day’s prize money will be sent by 11:59 PM PST.
  • Don’t want the money? As we get bigger there will be an option to donate your prize to one of our listed charities.

Humanity Checks

  • To ensure our heists aren’t being cracked by bots, we use human common-sense puzzles.
  • We also take advantage of the fact that Venmo, Cash App, and PayPal all need real, verified phone numbers.
  • Only real people can claim real prizes.

  • Join our community on YouTube and Instagram to get hints, see past winners, and keep up with all things TheDailyHeist.
  • Watch out for special heists, where the stakes (prizes) are even higher! To solve these you’ll have to find clues through out our socials.

Safety First

  • We’re committed to your privacy. Check our Privacy Policy to learn how we keep your data safe.
  • Winners are verified to ensure one individual isn’t winning every time. Our system tracks IPs, device identifiers, and payment methods to ensure a fair game.

Tips and Tricks

  • Use the Practice page to perfect your puzzle strategy before the heist goes live.
  • The earlier you start, the better your chances. So, set your alarms!

Early Phases

  • We are just starting this and have big plans for the future, like charity donations and special heists where the prize is much higher. Currently, we have three puzzles and are working on developing more ways to challenge our favorite thieves!
  • As well as more variations of puzzles, as we progress, we will increase prize money and the amount of winners each day!
